Every year, Hyatt hotels around the world come together to make a positive impact in our communities through the Global Month of Service Initiative. Hyatt focuses their volunteerism in four key areas: Health and wellness, environmental sustainability, education and career readiness, and economic development and investment. Our team contributed by partnering with Keep Rockland Beautiful and removing trash from the neighborhood streets surrounding the hotel and towards the downtown area. We collected about 32 pounds of trash! We also have partnered with Rockland Works beginning this month to provide internship opportunities for local students to develop their skills and talent in the hospitality industry. We are so glad to help give back to our local community, and look forward to making this a year-round affair!
