Please join me in welcoming Tony Cartagena to our team as we took over the management of Hampton Inn & Suites Newark-Harrison-Riverwalk. Tony is the General Manager at the Hampton Inn & Suites Newark-Harrison-Riverwalk. Tony progressed in his hospitality career at this hotel and had joined them as a van driver while he was going to college. He has been the General Manager at the hotel for the last 4 years.
Tony is passionate about delivering great customer service in his operation. Career in hospitality is special to him and he is keen to continue his development and learning in the industry.
He is an avid golfer and finds it relaxing. Apart from golfing in his spare time, he also enjoys watching football, basketball and baseball games with his family. Tony has a B.A. in Criminal Justice from St. Peter’s University.
