We are pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Melendez to the position of General Manager for the Hotel RL Brooklyn Bed-Stuy.
Michael’s diverse background as a Night Manager for the New York Hilton Midtown, Director of Housekeeping at Sheraton Niagara Falls, and Regional Operations Manager for Vacations Homes Collection will serve him well as he brings the lifestyle RL Brand to Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn.
Michael is also an ambassador for the hotel community by offering his time and skills to non-profit organizations such as Statler Center & the Welfare to Work program at New Jersey University. His passion for giving back to the community enables others to benefit from his experience and develop job skills to excel in the field of hospitality.
Michael was awarded his undergraduate degree from New York City College of Technology for Hospitality Management and is currently continuing his education with Cornell University.
