The landscape of web browsers is in an evolution process.  Google rolled out search changes in September 2014 and has changes coming in the fall that will impact certain programs and sites, Versions of Internet Explorer only service certain applications and shifts to Mozilla Firefox are growing. Programming changes and adpatations for web based applications, remote logins and other programs are causing users to expand to multiple platforms to best function in their applications.  Recently Hilton OnQ FTS users will now have to download and use Mozilla Firefox for connections.  OnQ PiM functions best in Internet Explorer, and Starwood's Valhalla requires a downgrade to IE7 or 8 for best functionality.  Landing pages for extranets are becoming more graphically driven, and list can can go on.

It is recommended that you have Google Chrome, Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox installed on your terminal to flex with expected browser changes to allow your applications to run in the best platforms.  You may need to shift your favorties from one browser to another to line up to the recommended and most functional platforms.
