From Adam Gollub, GM, Fairfield Inn & Suites Chelsea:
Mr. Gollub:
I’m Tyler’s wife and the one who does all the travel planning J. I typically do not leave reviews for hotels. Whether good or bad, I’m just forgetful by the time I get home from the trip.
But in this experience I must say it was one of the BEST hotel stays we’ve had! After reading the reviews on Travelocity I saw that your hotel received a lot of high marks so we took a chance on staying there for our Christmas NYC trip. I knew the rooms would be small or that the entire hotel would be smaller than most Fairfields but we are seasoned travelers and understand NYC’s limited space.
Not only do you have an exceptional staff, your Assistant GM Lina Iseni is above any GM I’ve met over the years. She is friendly and helpful. Always smiling and I witnessed not only the nice way she treated other customers but the way she respected staff. The staff at this hotel from the kitchen workers to housekeeping to front desk personnel were all happy and attentive. The breakfast time was crowded a few days and although you may hear a complaint from someone else, please know clearly that your food staff ran fast cleaning, refilling and seeing what people needed. Sometimes customers just need to be a little more patient and considerate during holiday seasons.
Ms. Iseni loaned her umbrella to us a couple of days and helped us with the best routes to take the subway to attractions. She along with your other staff were very attentive to us and I witnessed it at other customers.
Marriotts are typically hotels you can count on but your specific one is above any we’ve stayed at in years. Your team is rare and what makes your hotel a gem in NYC.

From Elizabeth, MOD, Four Points Manhattan Soho:
Ms. Norget checked in after having 2 horrid nights of no heat in her nearby apartment. Not to mention is has been below 20 degrees at night for the past few days. After having spoke with her for a few, she went up to her room; I thought it would be a good idea to send up a robe and slippers along with a note that read “We heard you are having issues staying warm. Please warm up with these. Thank you for choosing the Four Points Soho Village. We are delighted to have you with us. It is our pleasure to be of service. Please feel free to reach out to us if you need anything at all. We hope you enjoy your stay with us and hope this isn’t your last one”. I called her after to see how everything was with the room and she said she has is in awe as she has never had personal service of this level.
