Milestones

Positive Events / Memories Today: Today I was able to communicate with a gentleman who made a reservation with Robin last night. He had a special request for a “Lazy Boy” recliner in the room. The request was made due to the fact that his wife is in stage 4 cancer and she cannot lie in a bed due to her condition. He was told last night that we had no recliners however, I heard about the issue after speaking with Robin and made a point of taking care of lining up the availability of a brand new recliner by pulling some strings and calling upon some old friends from a local organization of which I started several years ago. The owner of a local furniture store and longtime friend of this organization has agreed to supply a chair for us to use in accommodating this request. I will be heading to the shop tomorrow to pick up the chair and see that it is here on the property and ready to be placed in the room prior to the arrival of the guests on Friday. I have been in contact with the guests via phone a couple of times today and let them know we were able to make it happen for them. He was elated and they cannot wait to return to their favorite vacation destination!
