HOTEL INDIGO BROOKLYN – A TOAST TO THE WEEKEND’S ARRIVALS!

This evening, Jhenelle and I set up a happy hour at the front desk for all arriving guests (21 and older of course =] ). We greeted our guests with complimentary samples of champagne to kick off the weekend! 

HOME2 SUITES TURNS AROUND A SITUATION FOR A BRIDE TO BE ARRIVAL!  BOTH A WOW AND A RECOVERY ALL  IN ONE!!

WOW!  Guest  in room 623 checked in today as our Bride- to-be. Our Breakfast Attendants, Sonia and Angie picked up a bottle of Champagne and some cookies while Kaitlyn, the FOM, wrote a welcome letter and decorated their upgraded suite.

Recoveries:   Guest in room 623 was not able to check in, credit card was declined , guest’s mom was with her and wanted to use the mom’s credit card instead ,I added guest’s mom name on reservation and same her mom’s card was declined , guests was very worry because tomorrow is her wedding day “ the big day”.. they walked away trying to figured out what to do there was money in both cards , I over hearing their conversation about a check , I then asked the guests which bank do they bank with , they said Chase  I also asked if they have a smart phone and they said yes,  I said yippee.. we have a solution… I suggested to download app (Chase) and you could make a mobile phone check deposit the money will be credit to the checking debit card and can be use right away, I let them use our charger to charge their Iphone so they could get that done…. Guest  took my suggestion and made the mobile check deposit money was credited to debit card and the debit  card was approved and checked in happy. They really appreciated.

GO JESSICA!  Today I checked in a guest, and he stays with us frequently and informed me how much he enjoys our property vs. others. guest just reached his Platinum Elite status with us and was very excited to share this news with us. I myself was also excited for Mr. Cardenas. I made him a quick goodie bag of snacks and water bottle and upgraded guest. I also reached out to our Sales Manager so he can receive a corporate account and may utilize a corporate rate on his next visits.
