As you see above I put both of the headlines / subjects together because what this story entitles is both negative and positive. As I walked into my shift today I found everyone with a frown. I didn’t understand why until I managed to look at the entrance door where Ms. Lorna was standing. I saw that Ms. Lorna was standing next to a Gentleman who was dressed in a suit alongside a bunch of family members wearing all black. Ms. Lorna spotted me and came up to me to hand me a note reading 1308 Bereavement. I looked at the note, then the guy, then the note again. The front desk agents then informed me that the Gentleman who is standing at the entrance has just suffered a loss. It’s a touchy subject so I didn’t approach the gentleman but was informed again that he had lost his mother. After hearing that I understood why everyone was actually affected by it. It touches home once you hear something like that. The Four Points crew got together and thought of something we could all possible do to make somewhat of a really bad situation turn to something heartwarming. The crew decided to place a hallmark card with flowers and a cheese/fruit platter in the room so that even though the guest is feeling down we could possible bring his spirit back up just a bit, we did just that.
