To:  Kyle Weiss, Manager, Hyatt Herald Square, NY.  and Pete Sears, Group President, Americas, Hyatt Hotels

We are writing in regard to our wonderful stay at the Hyatt Herald Square on June 10-13, 2016 (room 901).

We choose the Hyatt Herald Square in part for its location; but what made us choose the Hyatt over other hotels in the area were the reviews we saw on Trip Advisor about the welcoming staff.  Those reviews were so right! The room was lovely, the hotel clean, but it was the staff that made our stay so wonderful.

We'd like to compliment Kathia Chan!! From the moment we walked into the hotel, she was incredibly  warm, cheerful and helpful, and she remained that way our entire stay, helped us choose the perfect room, and always took the time to greet and speak with us whenever we saw her. She also sent us to a lovely Italian restaurant. We'd also like to thank her for the surprise cheesecake and water for Bev's birthday, as well as hand writing a birthday card!

Thanks also to Koby for his birthday wishes and who always greeted us!  We also would like to mention other friendly staff who remembered us and talked with us about music, history and New York, and the housekeeper who cheerfully changed the covers and pillow from feather to foam.

We may not have gotten all the names, but here are some: Sarah Jean-Baptiste, Nico, Calvin, Raul, Zack, and another lovely lady near the front desk whose name I did not get. And, thank to Kaylen, who first took the reservation when we called from Toronto, and inputted my birthday info when I mentioned we were coming from Toronto to celebrate.

Kathia, we will be back! (And send our friends!)
