Ok, so if you don’t know Chef Alex, you are missing a treat. Chef Alex had to do a double today and work in the restaurant. Not getting to many guest for dinner, Chef had to keep himself occupied and busy. He walked around in the lobby and introduced himself to the guest and asked them if they were coming to our weekly Manager’s Reception tomorrow. While all of this is going on, I am just watching how he interacts with the guest and how they respond to him. He has a huge personality and a REAL heart for people. Was fun to watch and a great WIN for the property.

Mrs. Martha Johnson-Thames is staying with for 27 nights. Team member Tiffany Campbell went out of her way to accommodate Mrs. Johnson –Thames honoring the best room we have in the property. Mrs. Thames came down to the lobby to sincerely thank Tiffany for accommodating her in such a beautiful shower. Along with this request she was also provided of a bottle of Merlot on behalf of the Fairfield Inn & Suites LIC.  Way to go Tiffany.

Today while checking in Mr. Galant in room 314 asked about our cookies. He stated that the last time he was here we were serving fresh baked cookies and hoped that we still had some more. Over hearing the guest, Allisha stepped in and told him that we had the cookies but they weren’t warm. Mr. Galant was a little disappointed and said he no longer wanted the cookies because they were not warm. As soon as the guest walked away from the desk, Allisha called down to the kitchen and asked if she could have a few cookies made. The chef was able to comply and Allisha personally delivered the cookies to Mr. Galant. He was so thankful and told her that the reason he liked them was because it reminded him of home.
