It is with tremendous honor and immense delight that I announce the appointment of Jorge Garciadealba as Assistant General Manager at the Hyatt Place Phoenix North. Jorge’s official start date was Thursday, August 1, 2019. Please join me in welcoming Jorge to the Property and Real Hospitality Group. I am positively elated to be working alongside Jorge and I am ecstatic about the impact that his experiences and proven results will have on this team and our organization. I find it simply amazing that Jorge and I both worked in New York City at the same time for neighboring hotels on E. 50th Street and we are now joining forces on N. 25th Avenue in Phoenix, Arizona.
Jorge joins us with more than 25 years of experience in hospitality, having started his career as Front Office Manager at the Marriott CasaMagna Cancun Resort. After a successful career in Sales dealing with Fortune100 companies in 5 continents, he most recently served as Assistant General Manager at The Kimberly Hotel in New York City where he jumped on the opportunity to pursue his true passion for Operations.
Jorge obtained his Law Degree from the Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon and is fluent in 5 languages. He is versed in the Art of Handmade Hospitality, which we can’t wait to exercise at the Hyatt Place Phoenix North.
In his spare time, Jorge enjoys hiking with his dog Charlie, skiing and SCUBA diving.
