Our very own Hampton Inn Grand Central Team was featured on the Hilton website for their Pitch In and Pick Up volunteer program! Below is the story:
"On Friday 25th May, 2018 The world famous Hampton Inn Grand Central along with Real Hospitality Group took time from their busy schedules to give back to the community. Being a holiday weekend, the team knew that visitors to NYC would be flocking to Central Park so they organized to participate in Pitch In and Pick up in conjunction with Central Park Conservancy Volunteer Program. After a brief orientation at the visitor center, the team was given a trash grabber, gloves, and garbage bag for litter. General Manager Elizabeth Ardiles, Director of Sales Robert Wilkins, Sales Manager Erica Green, Guest Services Manager Imelda Castilla, Chief Engineer Pedro Ortiz, Front Office Supervisor Saule Zhukembayeva, Accounting Manager Jadie Shum and Matthew West Talent Director from Real Hospitality Group spent an hour collecting trash from the park to ensure it was ready for the holiday weekend. In all, we were able to donate 0 to the volunteer program as well as collect 8 garbage bags of trash from the park."
