This letter is long overdue, but we wanted to make sure we recognized a few of your outstanding employees. As a Gold Marriott Rewards member, we have stayed at numerous Marriott properties over the years and have always received good service, but the service we received on Monday, November 26, 2018 from Kendijah, Jess and Nancy at your hotel was outstanding and exceptional!
My wife and I were in NYC for the Thanksgiving weekend visiting our daughter. We had stayed at another Marriott property and after checking out on Monday and having lunch with our daughter, we were notified that our flight that evening had been canceled due to inclement weather conditions. While trudging with our luggage through the cold and rainy streets of NYC back towards our daughter’s apartment, we were not in good spirits. We walked past your hotel and decided to stop in and check the rates and availability.
That is when we were greeted at the front desk by Kendijah, Jess and Nancy. These three could not have been more friendly, soothing and helpful. They not only checked us in but upgraded our room and later even sent a bottle of wine along with a handwritten note. To say we were blown away by their kindness is an understatement. Our mood changed from cold, tired and dreary to upbeat, comfortable and relaxed.
Kendijah, Jess and Nancy are a credit to your hotel and Marriott is lucky to have them. Please make them, the hotel General Manager and your corporate office aware of this letter and our sincere appreciation for the outstanding service we received.
As stated earlier our daughter is living in NYC near your hotel and we will definitely be staying at your hotel in the future due to the exemplary service we received from these three outstanding employees.
