Guest called the hotel with a few simple requests for her arriving reservation for 9/17/16. While Clarissa was engaging with the guest, she discovered that the guest will be staying here with her best friends. She explained that one of her best friends had a double mastectomy and has recently received news from her doctor that there is still cancerous cells present and she has to take chemo treatments. So they were having a girls night out and she will begin therapy treatment on the following day.
Clarissa wanted to do something special for the guest so we upgraded the room, purchased pink balloons, lollipops and few other things and Clarissa made a lollipop bouquet stating “Cancer Sucks”. The guest was so grateful and touched by the goodwill gesture. The next day the guests purchased flowers for Clarissa and thank you cards for the Front Desk team. This is what you call “Owning Your Guest”. Great Job Clarissa!
