A couple is here staying with us for their first time. Upon checking in they stated how they are here celebrating their 7th year wedding anniversary. They usually stay next door at the Aloft, but this time they wanted to try our hotel. We gave them a warm friendly welcome and congratulated them on their anniversary. Knowing it was their first time here and they are celebrating their 7th year anniversary, we wanted to make it very special for them. We gave them a Happy Anniversary balloon and an anniversary card. We prepared a nice anniversary bag with some wine and chocolate covered cookies. The couple were playing pool next door at The Aloft so we decided to go surprise them there. They both were amazed and appreciative for what we had done. They could not believe we went out of our way to make them feel very welcomed. They stated this has been the best anniversary gift and they really loved that we had gone out of our way to find them and surprise them.
What a wonderful way to create memories! Well done!
