On Monday, August 21, 2017, the housekeeping team at Aloft Manhattan Downtown partnered with Terra Renee, president of AAWIC - African American Women in Cinema - and the Nass Yook Koom Koom Foundation in their outreach project to help the underserved in Sengal, Africa.
Aloft Manhattan Downtown donated 548 various pieces of linen which they could not use any longer. The donation will surely go far towards AAWIC’s goal of 10,000 pieces of bedding!
The 548 pieces consisted of 211 king flat sheets, 96 king fitted sheets, 12 queen flat sheets, 25 queen pillow cases and 204 king pillow cases!
