Please see the letter below from Mr. Turkel. Great teamwork by everyone at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Financial District to make their stay and experience unforgettable!

"Dear Mr.Rynkar,
As a loyal Marriott customer for over forty plus years, I have encountered many dedicated staff at all levels at the Marriott organization.

Recently, we stayed at your hotel 3-nights and enjoyed the hospitality and the service. The room (2506) was very clean and well appointed with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was fine, and the reception desk staff were very helpful.

I wanted to recognize several individuals who went above and beyond to make our visit memorable.

Md Asiquzzaman was very welcoming and helpful with local directions as well as part of the duo singing " Happy Birthday" to my girlfriend Shari.

You see, Shari celebrated her 70th. on June 18th. After a great dinner, we stopped at the Captain's Bar to have a nightcap. Your barman, Victor Rodriguez upon learning about Shari's special day and my birthday (4-days prior) brought a small cake with a candle and all proceeded to sing the Happy Birthday song with Md. He also offered us a libation to wash it down. I can tell you that Shari was so touched by this gesture, her eyes were watering with joy.

We enjoyed talking with Victor and learning about him and were very impressed with his dedication to his craft and customers. When we left, we both felt we gained a new friend!

Mr.Rynkar, we all expect comfortable rooms, clean and bright lobby, nice building etc. at a minimum. However, at the end of the day staff can make or break an establishment. You have two great dedicated people and I am sure many more. It also speaks highly of your management style. Kudos to you and all who work there helping loyal Marriott customers like us make "memories" worth keeping.

In conclusion, we will recommend your hotel to our friend and family, and plan to stay next time we are back in the Big Apple.

Sincerely,
Mehmet S. Turkel"
