It's been a busy month for our partnership with ECPAT-USA!
Matt West, our Director of Talent Acquisition and Development, was invited to be a panelist at the New Jersey Business Travel Association meeting, speaking on the importance of ECPAT's mission and the progress it's made this year. Thank you for representing RHG on this important topic!
On November 9, ECPAT-USA hosted its first ever Freedom Awards celebration to honor leaders in the fight to end child trafficking and exploitation. Real Hospitality Group was proud to continue our support as a partner sponsor and the event was attended by associates from both Corporate and our NYC properties. The event brought together a highly selective group of 200 luminaries in the corporate, philanthropic, government, and media communities in support of ECPAT-USA’s vital work to ensure no child is bought or sold. ECPAT-USA granted awards to the world’s most remarkable individuals for their contributions in ending child trafficking including the CEO of Thomson Reuters Foundation Monique Villa, NYC Police Commissioner James O'Neill and students from Brooklyn Technical High School Julia Zeng and Rumana Khan.
In addition, on November 11, a large group of RHG team members participated in the Storm Warriors 5K run/walk in Ocean City, where we raised over ,000 for ECPAT - and congratulations to Zach Hanna, who got first prize in his age group!
